Absolutely love this place! We go here every time we visit Mineral Point. Very family/kid friendly for a bar. The food is amazing. Half pound burgers are excellent, but everything is great. Fries are top notch as well. They offer pasties too, a staple for this, as well as many mining towns such as those in the U.P. but they do tend to sell out. Must be popular with the locals. Of course there are New Glarus and Lake Louie beers on draft, since they are both made very close to here. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and overall highly recommended!
A nice, friendly place. As we travel to and through Mineral Point several times each year, it's become a usual stopping place for us. Good pub food and pub pizza, a good beer selection with some of the local brews on tap and in bottles, and a friendly vibe. Even though we are not "regulars," we are treated as if we are. You just can beat that on a road trip.
I've tried to catch this place open, but every time they have been closed during their listed online open hours. I did NOT see any hours on the front door, so maybe the online hours are listed incorrectly. I wont stop a 3rd time.
